Meet The Team

Helen O’Brien

Clinical Director & Founder

Known to her patients as ‘The Colonics Queen’, Helen has built the Complete Health Clinic to be the number one in number twos!

Helen learned about the health benefits of colon hydrotherapy whilst researching complementary therapies to aid her recovery from a particularly bad bout of salmonella and a series of health issues. She believes that looking after yourself isn’t selfish, it’s selfless.

Since qualifying in 2004, Helen has changed hundreds of people’s lives with her open, honest and amusing approach to gut healthcare. She believes in treating the whole person, looking at factors including lifestyle, diet, and medical history, as well as having a good old chat!

Helen is an Advanced Practitioner of Colon Hydrotherapy and is qualified in sound healing and breath work.

Lucy Dawson

Senior Colon Hydrotherapist

‘Magic hands’ Lucy puts people at ease with her gentle, empathic nature.

You may already know Lucy as a therapist at the Lowry Re:Treat. Highly experienced in caring and complementary therapy, she has always been fascinated by the body. Her personal passion is natural healing through plants and touch.

After a serious bout of food poisoning whilst working abroad, Lucy had a course of treatments with Helen to help her return to full health. When she experienced the difference treatment made to her own life, Lucy completed her ARCH qualification. We’re thrilled to have her in the team!

What We Do

We are not Doctors, we can only give you advice related to our own specialities and as such, if it is an unrelated problem, or we feel we cannot help you, we will advise you to contact your GP.

Manchester’s most fashionable hotel is situated on the banks of the River Irwell on the Manchester / Salford boundary, making it an ideal location for a city break. The hotel offers a number of spa / health & beauty treatments as well as our full range of services.

As a client of Complete Health Clinic you are entitled to a complimentary customer parking pass, allowing you to park for free for the duration of your treatment (subject to availability). Simply park up, the secure car park is based underneath the apartments on the left hand side as you drive in and the Lowry Hotel is based in front of you. Before leaving you will be given the pass which you will need to present at reception on your way out. Subject to availability.
